Building Permit Requirements

Worth Township does require a building permit for ANY STRUCTURE over 100 square feet.

Butler County Building Permits are not available online.  BUTLER COUNTY BUILDING PERMITS MUST BE FILLED OUT IN PERSON.

Building Permit Fees are $50.00 per structure.  The office doesn’t take credit/debit cards.  Checks are made out to Worth Township.

Demolition Fees are $5.00 per structure.

ALL buildings over 1,000 square feet must be inspected by MDIA. YOU MUST FILL OUT BOTH THE BUTLER COUNTY AND MDIA BUILDING APPLICATIONS. MDIA will access their own fees accordingly.  All fees must be paid in full with a  check made out to MDIA before the building permit is released to you or your contractor. IF YOUR PROJECT REQUIRES INSPECTIONS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PRINTS ARE PRINTED ON LETTER SIZE PAPER.  PLEASE, NO OVERSIZE PRINTS.  THANK YOU.
